Hi,

I have an AngelFish in my tank (71l) and is doing great. I've had him for about 7 months.

My dad's friend has some-one to have his angel fish and has asked us.

My question is, with it coming from a different tank, will it be aggresive towards mine or the other fish?

Any other advice would be great!

Sam

There's no set in stone answer.

What sizes are they? Male/Female?

What other fish in there?

I think it'd be best to hang on to get a bigger tank for the one you have before getting another - angelfish need a minimum of 29g (so I've read, I'd say more personally) and the tank needs to be at least 18" tall. :good:

You're tank is too small for 2 angels. What are the dimensions of your tank?

When you introduce a new angel to an already dominent angel, the dominent angel will be more aggressive towards the new angel. The only way to reduce the aggressiveness would be to remove both angels, then rearrange the decor in the tank, then introduce both angels into the tank. They would still be aggressive, due to a status in dominance, but not as bad as if your already introduced a new angel into a tank that has an angel that has already established it's dominance.
