Angel Fish! Have Bred.. Help

HI, dunno if this is in the right place but am desperate for an answer.
Our angel fish have just had babies for the 2nd time.

First time we removed all the other fish in the tank and left the parents with their fry, (fry were swimming round by this stage).
but the parents ate their young. so......

This time we have just separated the fry.. they are still attached to the wee sacky bit that their eggs was in. Did we take them off the parents too early?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

I would say yes but I not very experienced with angelfish.
