Hello, not sure if this goes here or not but need help. I was gone for about a week and once I returned my angel fish laid eggs on an enormous piece of driftwood. I love it but i'm not prepared for them at all, no separate tank, no breeding separator or even the brine shrimp to feed the hatchings. I know they will all die because they are in the same tank as other fish, few gouramis and cat fish. Need help on how to save them, i just re designed this tank for only small schools and angel fish. Now I have the eggs I want to keep them. Any ideas on what equipment to get and what are my options on feeding them something besides brine shrimp. I live 30 miles from petco and petsmart and they don't carry any shrimp. Thanks.

If its there first spawn there is a huge likelyhood the eggs will get eaten, if you want to raise the fry it would be best to remove the eggs to a seperate tank as the other fish will eat them, you would only need a small hatching tank, sponge filter & heater and an airstone by the eggs to "fan" them. Once hatched they dont require feeding untill the egg sacks have been used up, if you dont have any brine shrimp eggs/lava you can finely crush flake food for them.
