K question i have a breeding pair of angels... no I dont plan on breeding although I want one spawn of my own so that I can keep some of the babies .... I have buyers for everyone else.

my question is I bought a breeding pair of angles and my tank is set up perfectly for them . amonnia 0 nitrate ect 0 ph 7 temp 80.

now I put them in on saturday the female was fairly chubby when I got them (they were being kept with rocket gars in the store which is why I bought them I felt bad for them they were swimming with the fins all clamped and the gars were eating their fins, now they swim with their damaged fins spread out as far as they can go and they eat about 3 times a daya mixture of foods although nothing live as of yet) My girl though seems to look eggy (fat) and is getting wider..... the male keeps nudging her towards the drift wood/ tall plants. and wont let her out in the open part of the tank he is always nudging her and swimming wierdly over the drift wood and occaisonally the tall plants as well
Is she going to explode like female bettas do? is she egg bound? is this normal?
or is the male acting like this because the gars ate one of his eyes? and now he cant see out of one eye? Its being treated with melafixand anti fungal stuff, there is also a medical dose of aquarium salt in the water ... but I dont know if I put salt in everyday or one when I do a partial change. the tank is 100 gallons
tank mates are 3 weather loaches and a inch long pleco (my baby :p)

When angels become eggbound they don't explode, but the pressure does affect their internal organs, which can be fatal. Put the angel in a quar tank, add 1 teaspoon per 10 gallons epsom salt, increase by a teaspoon per 10 gallons daily for a few days to bring it up to 3 teaspoons per 10 gallons. Do not feed the fish at all, nothing. If the eggs are not expelled, you will need to keep the angel in a seperate tank, and not feed at all for a month, hoping the eggs will be adsorbed by the angel due to the extended fast. The female is no longer any good for breeding after this, but is in all other respects healthy.
