I just bought a pair of angels for my 33 gallon, they are £4.95 each, i bought 1 zebra angel and 1 black. Is this a good price for them? they are both just about 1.5 inches so really small (and my cardinals are bigger lol)

Now, i normally feed my fish with tetra prima, hikari tropical mini pellets, hikari tropical mini wafer and king british flake (aswell as catfish pellets and algae wafters for the corys)

what should i feed my angels? they are very small at the moment but i want them to grow bigger

please tell me what i should feed on a daily basis, and is frozen bloodworm a good thing to feed each week for them?

thanks

Will

my angels eat algae wafers that they steal from the plecs, flake ,frozen bloodworm, daphnia, brine shrimp, tubifex and chopped prawn but theres loads of things you can feed them :)
regards scot :)

is there any dry food that would help them grow biggfer than they are currently, but more quickly?

something like cichlid pellets if i crush them up?

Anything with high protien. Tubifex , Mysis Shrmip, Any freeze dried animal in a container will help them grow quicker. Plus frequent water changes will also.

Higher protein foods, 50% water changes twice weekly, bring the water temperature up to at least the mid 80'sF, if tankmates will tolerate it.

If you are feeding a high protein diet fast for one day weekly, this helps to avoid any constipation issues. Bloodworms are a really high protein food, I like to follow a feeding of bloodworms with brine shrimp, which provide more roughage.

mine eat anything , theyre a bit picky with when theyll eat, what i mean is , if i put some food in and they dont notice they wont eat it , if i go to the side of the tank they'll come over for the food and eat whatever i put in as they know it it's there, i've had tubifex floating in the tank for a couple of days an not touched yet put it down when they know i'm there and they'll eat. but i've fed them floating pellet's which they take in there mouth and back out as it's to big but they do this a few times and it's gone. they've eaten prawns, flake, live anything really.

Awkward buggers!
