I have 4 red angels, which eventually produced a pair which bullied the other two. One of the bullied fish had developed a lump on its side near its tail (early on after getting him), which has grown as he has, although he seemed ok. Coming back from a 5 week holiday (fish keeping friends looked after my fish), the pair had taken over the whole 55 gall tank and the other two were hiding under the filter, the one with the lump lying flat on the sand.

I have moved those two into another tank but my lumpy fish is still lying on the sand. I had hoped he would de-stress after the move, but thats 12 days now and still no better. I don't know if he has a cancerous lump or if he has been internally damaged by the bullying fish. He swims now and again, usually when he gets a fright and you can see that he he has problems keeping his balance as it were.

MY lfs will euthanise for me - I don't know what to do. Will I hang on and give him more time?

Any picture's?? I currently have a ram that is almost 24 months old. I believe rams only live for around 18 - 24 months so he is getting on a bit now, he has recently (about three weeks now) been breathing a lot faster and has a pinkish lump near his tail. I believe this to be a tumor. Unfortunately there isnt much I can do about this.
