Just been down the pub and just seen their pair of angels breeding I think . They have decided to lay their eggs in the corner of the tank about six inches up . She looks like she is laying and he looks like he is fertilising . I do not know because I have not witnessed this before .
The question is what the happy grandparents should do now ? They are new to this and were given the tank and the occupants along with another 2ft tank which is empty of occupants but has been filled and running for 3 weeks ish .
The other residents I know that are in the tank are
plec about 4 ins
redtail black shark about 3 ins
talking catish about 3ins
another catfish / shark about 4ins with really long whiskers(2) and spotted
clown loach about 2 ins
and a couple of small fish that I can't identify .
All this in a tank of 36 x 18 x 15 with an internal fluval (I think) filter .
This is a picture of the female with something protruding underneath where the eggs are coming from I think . I do not now what breed they are but they about 3 ins in length .
