Angel Fish And The Sun...

At about tea time every day that its sunny, the sun shns ito my angel fish tank for about an hour (not avoidable)
Do angel fish like the sun? Just wondering as the sun only gets in half of the tank, yet thats where all the angels gather...
They sort of look like they are sunbathing!

EDIT: Not really sure on why I posted this, just seemed strange as they all bunch together and 'hover' instead of swimming about!

It should be fine, but you might find yourself battling algae at some point.

edit: to address the question, yes they probably do like the sun. If they didn't, I'm sure they'd swim over to the shaded areas of the tank =)

As said above, but I think that if it's only a short period of time you have direct sunlight in the tank, it shouldn't be a problem.

I often see native fish around my area basking at the top of the water when it is sunny, I think to a certain extent fish need the sun as we do aswell
