Angel Fish And Discus

Hi,
Just been looking through site after site to see if you can keep angel fish and discus together but have had no luck...
So... Is it possible?
Also what do discus need? (have heard they can be hard to keep)

i have been looking to get some discus and have found out a lot from people on here. im sure one of them will give you info in more depth but a young discus needs very frequent water changes, possibly daily..... also no substrate in tank, top quality varied food and quite a high temperature. older fish dont need as frequent water changes and can have substrate but everything else still applies. they really do need a lot of care and attention and all of this has kind of put it on hold for me at the minute..... i have just given you a rough idea of what they require, i am by no means a discus expert but just passing on basic info that i have received.

i cant help with the discus/angel compatability but you would need a big tank..... i have a 240L 4ft tank and could house 5/6 discus only....

Mattlee has given some good info there.

Young discus need large daily water changes, as they get older this can be reduced but still need large water changes 2/3 times a week. Also many discus keepers will tell you not to put gravel in the tank, leave it bare bottomed

What size is the tank?

thanks for all the info so far...

at the moment I have a 3ft (94l) tank but I wasnt planning on getting any discus until I have my new tank, unsure on size in litres but its 7ft x 2.5ft x 2ft...

Have always liked the look of Discus but they may prove to difficult for me eventually...
