My angel has laid eggs on the front glass of my 55 gallon. She has done this once before while in the 20 gallon, only she laid them on the filter intake, then she proceeded to eat them all. I had a few questions about this:

1. Is it bad for me to let her eat her eggs? There is no male to fert them. Should I remove them instead of letting her eat them?

2. Is it a good or bad thing she is laying eggs?

3. Is it a bad thing there is no male to fert the eggs?

4. Will she experience stress from lack of fry since there is no male?

1. Don't think so no.

2. Good, it shows she is healthy and happy with the conditions you have provided.

3. If you want Angel fry then yes!

4. Not sure, I would doubt.

Not sure if you have the room, but if it was my tank I would buy another 5 angels and try to get a breeding pair out of the group, IMHO breeding makes this hobby much more interesting.

there is a topic about breeding angels.... you need aLOT of space in your tanks for them as they will have 200 ish babys...

but laying eggs is good as it shows they feel happy in your tank... good work :good:
