Angel Compatibility

I have two angels and would like to add more fish to the tank. I need to know compatible fish. Many people say to have an all angel tank, but I don't want to breed so I find it stupid to have two angels all by themselves in a 55 gallon tank if I'm not breeding. What fish do good with angels?

Rams, Apistos, even Discus. Any big schooling fish (Ex Black Skirt Tetras) or cories. Even plecos- The list goes on.

I keep mine with tetras, barbs, cories, platies, rainbow cichlids, bolivian rams and other community fish in one (heavily planted) tank, and in another with parrot cichlids, rainbow cichlids, plecs and boesmanni rainbows. Oh and some brochis.

Rams make nice companions - they stick nearer the bottom and are really pretty. Emperor tetras look nice alongside angels too, and as long as they're not tiny (or your angels grow up alongside them) they should be fine

Oh and columbian tetras look beautiful alongside them
