im getting ready to move my little angel(2inches) into my 30 gallon tank with my guppies, and bloodfin tetras. what im wondering is how long should i be able to keep him/her in there before it out grows the tank, and once it has out grown the tank will it be ok to keep bloodfin tetras with it as an adult??

Minimum size for an Angel (Pterophyllum scalare) is normally 29 or 30 gallons. You may keep the fish in the tank for his full life, as long as it has a tank height of 18 inches or more. Might I add though, that he will end up nipping at the Guppies, and depending on the size of both guppies and tetras, he may even consider them as snacks!

i do believe that it is 19 inches, and i don't plan on leaving the guppies or tetras in with the angel if it starts being aggressive toward them. i have 3 30 gallons and atleast one is always empty so when it comes to seperating them im not concerned. i know alot of tetras can be nippy so what tetras can be kept with an angel that the angel won't try to ea later on?? also what rainbows are able to live in a 30 gallon with angels?? i know i have alot of questions.

Rainbows are fine. What type are you thinking of? Any larger Tetras should be okay, I wouldn't be worried about their nipping. You may also want to try some Giant Danios.
