I have a 2 yr old established reef tank, have had only normal setbacks along with a couple hurricanes to help.

I introduced 1 false anemone 1 year ago now i have about 200, there happy thats for sure.

anyone who knows how to kill or remove them please help. I was told that injecting vinager into them would do the trick. However a 2nd opinon is nice :/ :/

Not a good idea, vinegar will throw off your PH a bit. You can get a pepermint shrimp to eat them, or there is a product out there called joes juice that reportedly works well, I asume of course your talking about apistia, grass anemonies correct

Concentrated kalk (calcium hydroxide) injected into their base is sometimes recommended for removing them.

Boiling water injected into them works... COpperband buterlfies ... Peppermints Shrimps, Kalk and finally Joes Juice. Out of all of them i can sy that i have seen 3 been used. The buterfly, the shrimps and the Juice. The most natural way was with the shrimps but they only tackle small ones. Copperbands are good but they are so delicate and tend not to live long. Lastly the Juice, great stuff and it litterally kills them right before your eyes. They blow up and then simply fall apart. Comes in a tiny bottle and you will think you have been ripped off but you only need the tiniest drop to kill them so a bottle goes a very long way.

The Joes Juice is probably your least favorable option due to the size of your infestation. I have seen the peppermints be beneficial for keeping Aptasia in check, and have witnessed the Copperbands do miraculous things with extreme growths.

I would say you need the peppermints right away to see how well they attack your problem. If you don't see an improvement, get the copperband, then the shrimp should keep them in check.
