Hi
Well, about 30 mins ago Sahara, Netty's female, was released from her chimney. She's in with Taro the male BF. They'd been in the spawning tank for nearly 2 weeks now. Sahara didn't appear to have any fear of Taro initially, swimming straight over to Taro and his nest :good:
Then he had to start getting all boyish  Lots of chasing going on.

Will update later

So, its been about 5 1/2 hrs now   Netty has fallen asleep watching them (the spawning tank is in the bedroom) :S :S

Bit more chasing, no real damage to either, Sahara has a little nik in her caudal. She's gone over to the nest a number of times willingly, but Taro gets a bit too lively for her, and she makes a hasty retreat.

Both seem quite happy though so we'll just let em get on with it :good:

Wow! > Never seen a Male Betta like that before> Hope it's successful.

They've been together just over 24hrs and they've just started wrapping :good: :good:

Typical, I've got to travel 240miles to collect our van that broke down, so i'll miss most of it
