I just got a bunch of scraggly looking anacharis. I was told that it was very sensitive to Flourish Excel, but if I don't add excel, then my other plants won't grow. I can't get a co2 gas set or anything. Some say to just add excel every other day and anacharis won't melt. What are your opinions? Has anyone experianced this problem before? If so, what did you do to stop it?
More info: 10 gallon tank, if it helps...
dosing NPK, iron, and excel after a water change, which I do twice a week.
20 w. ( There were no 10w or 15w that I could find that could fit my hood...)
1 pearl gourami
9 glowlight tetras
1 amazon sword
1 broad leafed sword
4 stems of water wisteria
4 stems of ludwigia repens
1 anubias nana petite
... and the new scraggly anacharis that I got yesterday...
Any other additional comments would also be welcome.
