well I have 4 bettas all in 1 gall tanks. They are in my window as I have no where else to place them for now. Well the odd think I have noticed is about how the algea grows diffrent in each one.
starting from the left is my plakat. he is in a 1g circular bowl with natural gravel. Brownish green algea grows in two spots on his pot. That is all
next is the male betta, natural gravel and a fake plant. He has a plastic 1 gallon goldfish tank. he gets both green and brown algea.
then the female. red gravel, two fake plants. She is in one those those 1 gallon tanks. She is the only one with a light.
She has green algea.
Finally the other plakat.
He is in the same kind of tank as betta 2. He had sand. and a pot. He grew only brown algea.
I think it is odd how the tank and placement of the fish bowls?tank effect the type of algea growth.
