An easy and accidental solution to my green water

I unexpectedly had to leave this weekend to go out of town for 4 days. I didn't have a chance to put my lights on timers or put out an automatic feeder, so I shrugged and said "My fish will be fine over a long weekend."

When I got home on Sunday night and turned on the light, my water was crystal clear! I'm still considering a UV sterilizer to prevent this problem in the future, though.

yeps, this is a common solution. However, if you resume your regular light schedule, the green water may come back. To fix this, try to figuire out what caused the green water in the first place. too much light, no co2, etc.
