its about 50 ltrs what should i buy ?

" can i buy an angel fish , Black Widow or silver dollar ?>>( i just wanna 1 type live with live plants )

thank you

Hi and Welcome

The issue of suitable tank mates for male betta splendens is complicated unfortunately.

Angels = No. tank wouldn't be big enough even without the Betta
Black widow = No. May pester the betta.
Silver Dollars = No. Tank is way too small for a 7" fish.

There are numerous recent threads about tankmates and a pinned section too.

IMO - Bottom dwelling fish are the best option. Cories, Oto's etc. However these require a mature tank with sand or very smooth substrate to live happily.

People will say they have kept certain fish with their betta ok. Bear in mind that the personality of bettas is different from fish to fish. Some will tollerate tank mates, whilst others wont.

hi i bought a big plant for the tank ,,but i got another Q sorry ^^"

can i put my fighter with my 4 mollys ( 3 and half month old ) ?

they r about .6 - .9 mm

Think he would probably enjoy snacking on them. Best not if you want the babies to grow up :good:

hi our betta lives with 5 khuli loaches, panda corys & amano shrimp & all get along with no probs, we did however have 2 baby peppered corys in there for a while but had to move them to our 4 ft tank as bert the betta we had then, used to rest low down under a tiger lily leaf & i caught one of the peppers munching on berts tail that was trailing on the sand on several occasions!!! i think the cory had just happened to be whiskering around in the sand & tried a bite of the tail & liked it,very unfortunate, poor old bert didnt even notice he was being enjoyed for lunch. we've had pandas in with b our bettas for well over a year with no probs at all :)
