Ammonia

my daughter has a memaid tank 15l,the ammonia level is 1.0 nitrite 0.the fish seem ok,how can i reduce the ammonia level?tank has been set up for four weeks now,fish are fed every other day.any advice would be great.thanks Kenya.

tanks is either not cycled or it's overstocked and the filters not coping.

how many fish and which sort do you have in there?
