Ammonia Nitrate

Hi guys,

I belive my 240 L is coming to the end of it,s cycle (YIPPPEEE) anyway I just wanted to check exactly how much Ammo & Nitrate my tank should be processing in any given time period say, 12/24 hours?

Help appreciated.

It should be processing the quantity of ammonia you add within 12 hours.

I think the recommended is to dose to 4ppm then it should process the lot within 12 hours? Im sure the info is in the beginners section.

Yes, whatever you add in 12 hours should be completely processed. This is usually 2-5 ppm, depending on first stocking.

When you add 4ppm of Ammonia wait 12 hours. If Ammonia and Nitrite are 0ppm than your cycled. Just make sure to do the "qualifying week".
