Ammonia Levels Plz Help

Hi - a couple of weeks ago all my guppies died

I took a sample to the shop and the man sed my ammonia levels were high.

all my rocks were covered in brown stuff.

i completely restarted the tank and after the cycle i introduced the platies.

all of a sudden within 1 day the brown stuff has re appeared.

i am worrid that my platies will die.

what should i do?

plz some1 help

Brown algae is common in a new set up tank, its maturing, it will soon disappear.
What size is the tank in gallons or litres.
How many fish and which type.
What are your present water stats in ammonia,nitrite,nitrate,and ph.
