has anyone evr kept these live bearers? Ive herd that they are rare.

I kept them years ago,they are members of the Goodeid family.The one that I had were fin nippers.I prefer Black Chinned Livebearers they are not so aggressive.

My black-chins, can be fisty, my females are fighting at the moment.

Yup ive seen them, but heard they can get a bit nippy with their tank mates, however have heard they are excellent algae eaters...even blue-green!!

Saw some a few weeks ago in Maidenhead Aquatics@ peterborough. I rresisted though. Want to get interesting Livebearers, but not sure these are the best for compatibility with others although some have been ok.
