I have a 400l 120x70x50 Amazonian tank which has been running for around six months. It is heavily planted with co2 injection. Currently there are only 19 fish in there, 12 Black Phantoms, 3 Bristlenoses, 3 Peppered Corys & 1 Clown Loach. PH = 6.6, KH 4-5 Amonia, nitrate & Nitrite almost nil. Most of the plants are thriving, with really luxurious growth, which needs constant prunning. The exception is my Amazon swords. I planted around 24 plants three months ago, and in the last 6 weeks they started to show rust like spots which gradually engulfed the whole leaf, which then die. There is new growth of new leaves, but somewhat stunted. I add liquid fert on a weekly basis and have used fert tabs & nitrate tabs around the plants, but to no avail. Any suggestions as to how to overcome this problem. I feel sure that it is probably some sort of deficiency, but at a loss to know just what. Any suggestions?

What liquid ferts and root tabs are you using? What light level have you got?
