i really like the look of amazon swords and would like some for the background of my tank but im on my 4th plant and they just seem to keep dying after few days the two i currently have in have only been in since monday and are already going brown and translucent what am i doing wrong? orare they just not easy to keep

sorry forgot about that,

its a 60L 2ft tank with just normal gravel sustrate and i add some tetra plant food once a week why doing a water change and the lighting is a T4 24W and its on 8-10 hours a day

Try adding fertiliser every other day. (split the weekly dose out).

Amazon Sword Plants are heavy root feeders. I have had great sucess with them using eco-complete substrate but for you I'd reccommend picking up some root tabs for them. All you do is slide them in the gravel at the base of the plant, this should give them the nutrition they require.
