Put mine in today, and because its quite small it just gets blown around by my spraybar. Should i hold it in place somehow or just leave it? (Will it hold itself in place better once it grows?)

i think floating plants like gently water, you could try some air tubing tied around in a circle, and put them inside there, so they dont all get dispersed and can be calmer :)

What worked for me until the plants spread was cutting off the rim of a plastic cup, to make a ring, and then putting the plant in the ring. The ring would float and the plant would stay within the ring and not get blown about. I did this when growing Salvinia and Frogbit, as I really like some current in my tanks.

My frogbit grew to be quite invasive with roots long enough that they buried into the substrate, and large leaves that jutted out of the hood of the tank. My poor corydoras were getting lost in the jungle of roots and I couldn't see my aponogetons, so out the frogbit went save for one small plant. All this from a few small plants. Just warnin' ya. It grows quite well.

:)

Cheers for the help, i just made a ring out of airline tubing and used a suction cup to hold it in one place and it worked quite well. You cant even see it because of the hood, yet you can see the frogbit.
