Im curious about Amazon frogbit - looks like it would be an interesting plant to have in the Betta tank.
Do any of you have any in yours? How well does it grow, and block light!
Do you think neons would like it?

I used to have it then it rotted away within a week. It was because my aquarium had a strong current in which all floating plants would die. Im guessing the betta tank has a weak current, so the frogbit should probably thrive. AFAIK most fish appreciate slightly dimmed lighting because its like that in their habitat. Its grow rate depends on lighting

ah ok thanks - its fairly low current yeah, and low light (15w). I worry about the plants underneath as it grows though - i guess it can be trimmed though eh?!
