my guppy had babies and none of the other fish are eating them !!!

she had only 7

which is wierd cuz usually you get more right:?

Congratulations! Is this her first time having fry? Maybe she only had seven because it is her first time. When my first guppy had fry, she only had 8 and I think it was her first time. I'm new at this, so I'm not sure why they have so few. I read they could have up to 60!

My guppies didn't eat the fry last time, but this time I know of one guppy in particular that ate them . . . well at least she ate one, I saw her do it! I didn't have the female canibal last time I had fry, so I'm wondering if I should take her out before the other pregnant females drop. I was able to save four fry before she ate them.

Anyway, congratulations again on your new little ones!

Congradulations on your Fry,I have a tank of Guppies and Mollies and they never eat there fry.I have loads of floating plants and they seem to survive no problem.I am always having to rehome fry and i keep adding some new bloodlines to cut down on the inbreeding
