Amano Shrimps

Its better to keep them with smaller fish... so they can't eat them.
My shrimps are happily living with my platys, mollies and guppies. They haven't touched the shrimps once.

They are also ok with mature Pearl Gourami, Betta and Emperor tetra IME. If they are very young amano, they will be preyed upon though. Ideally they should be 1.5 inches before you attempt to put them with these larger fish.

I have them with guppies, danios, white cloud minnows, harlequin Rasboras, cardinal tetras, otos, and ghost shrimp. A word of warning though - I have seen my Amano go after the occasional fry.
