Amano shrimp

Whats the hype with these guys? I mean are they almost the same as ghost shrimp or do they serve a specific purpose? Id like to get some, being i found them, but I'm not sure if 5 bucks a pop is justifiable.

they are algae eating shrimp and ideal
for small tanks with small fish in it.

They are fine with ghost shrimp. I have 2 ghosts and 5 amanos in my 29 gallon. Been in there together for about 3 months now. The amanos do a great job on algae too. Both will eat pretty much any type food you put in the tank too.
