amano shrimp with Apisto?

The guy at my LFS said my Apisto Borelli might eat the amano shrimp if I put any in my tank. The shrimp are $3 ea and I would hate for them to become food. Anybody out there keep shrimp with their apistos?

Well I kept them with my german blue rams and discus and they normally eat them within a couple weeks. I put 3 amanos in there and they actually lasted a couple months because they were a little quicker than the ghosts. They also found a great hiding place! lol I'm pretty sure the apistos would probably go for em after a while too.
