The problems with that stocking list that i can see are:

i) single clown loach (need schools, and grow large)
ii) pleco (applies only if its a common or a gibbicep)
iii) single usd cat (need schools)
iv) silver shark (large and needs schools)

And also the crabs could potentially lunch on one of your smaller fish one day.

I support what PT has just said. Apart from the USD cats (which should still be kept in groups), the other fish he mentioned will eventually have to be moved to a much larger tank. The sooner you can move them the better  To keep these fish, you'll be looking to buy a new tank. The smallest you could get away with would be 90g US, which probably sounds excessive but you need to remember that silver sharks are rather nervous, so they dart around a lot and need lots of room to swim. The bigger the better though :)

Yep I agree with Doggfather. I've also always only kept 1 USD cat and never had any problems and always been unltra healthy and seemingly happy in varied community.

:-(
oof i havt to do a rethink i dont want them to be unhappy ... its annoying cos i always check with the lfs when im buying that they will be ok alone and even offer to buy more there and then !!!

darn lfs ppl :grr:

WEll, i may be wrong, but in my experience, usd cats tend to be much more active in a school then in solitary conditions. Maybe its just me though >.<

Sorry, i guess i din't phrase it properly

I meant to say that all those fish, apart from the USD cats, will have to be moved to a bigger tank, i still agree with what PT said about keeping them in groups.

sorry for the confusion

You are correct PT, USD cats do MUCH better in groups...

also the single shark and clown loach are a no-no, and remember, both can get up to a ft long. Same applies to the common pleco - it will get BIG!
