I know everyone has their own opinion on exactly when the tank is 'full'. I want to see who thinks my tank is full.
I went to the LFS today to get a center piece fish for my 30 gal (115 lt) tank. It's 36l x 18 h x 12w. I picked a Pearl Gourami (I think its a female) because I've been told (By you lovely people) that a Pearl Gourami would be fine in a 30 gal
Anyways, to the LFS! The guy actually seemed to know what he was talking about, he asked the appropriate questions, Tank size, Stock, readings. I could tell he was impressed that I knew my readings. He suggested that my tank was nearing capacity, that it was probably full.
I agree with this statement, if my live bearers were producing fry. But they aren't (I think it's due to the pH, which is 8.2)
Does anyone else think my tank is full?
1 Pearl Gourami
2 Female Mollies
5 Platy's (1M: 4F)
5 Panda Cory's
1 Female Guppy
1 BNP.
I was hoping to add a schooling fish, maybe Neon or Cardinal Tetras. But if I'm nearing full... well then I'm nearly full.
So, what does the forum think?
