Am I At My Limit?

I have a rena 216 litre uk tank,

At the moment i have

10 harlequins rasboras
6 platies
6 guppies
6 silvertip tetras
3 cory trilinetus

can i add some more cories? i would like to get some peppered or albino.

Filter is tetratec ex700 external and a aquaflow 100 internal,the internal due to be replaced by another tetratec but a ex 1200 external,both the externals will be running on the tank.( just awaiting for delivery for 1200)

you could easily add 6-10 more cories

i would say yes, get the corries up to a group of 6.
with that tetratec ex1200 you should be totally fine, when it is cycled you can probably add some more corries and have 8-10. perhaps get some amano shrimp in there as well....

Hi Harlequins

When stocking your tank it's often helpful to use your nitrate level as a guide. If it's low, add a few more, but once it starts to creep up toward a higher level you will know you are reaching capacity. Of course, you could increase the frequency of water changes, but then a hobby becomes a lot like work. Some people have higher levels of nitrates in their water supply and do best with fewer fish in the same size tank as others who have a lower level to begin with.
