Alternative Food For Fish (scissortail And Tetra)

At the moment I am feeding the fish dry Flakes.

What else can I feed them to vary the diet and keep the little buggers healthy?

Try a thin slice of cucumber, they will normally eat the inside and leave the outer skin.

Also try bloodworm.

These are good a couple of times a week to just mix it up a bit

Frozen foods (brine shrimp, daphnia, bloodworm, blackworms).

canned tuna or salmon. the "in water" kind- not oil.

Just rinse it off a bit and toss in and sit back and watch the fish go crazy

Can also buy a box of crickets from a pet store that sells reptiles. They come in all sizes even for tiny tetras .
