I have a tetratec ex700 and it comes as a spraybar that is in 2 parts. My thought is that i could put in another 90degree bend to have half under the water. to produce a bit of a current. At present my bar sits like this

o=bend
----- = Spray bar
< = Direction of current
~ = Filler as it seams to remove multiple spaces.....

I have 3 choices if i put the bend in.

Or have the bar run this way

the Spraybar at present causes more of a swirl at the moment and thoughts of a straight bar to give a more direct current seem a good idea....

Thoughts and also where to get the right size 90 degree bend from.......

Thanks

my view is, just go with what u deem is good for your fishes. if you're keeping really calm fishes, a current wouldnt be practical. on the other hand, fishes like hillstream loaches, etc, require current and thats when u provide it.

Well I think I understand your diagrams - but what benefits are you hoping for by producing a current in the tank?
