I have just bought a new tank and set it up, when I bought the tank I asked for some suitable gravel for a goldfish, the guy gave me some stuff named alpine grit ans some larger pepples to go with it and said this is ok, is this right? the alpine grit does look rather small, it does have big bits in it too, what size gravel do goldfish need? my goldfish does suck the gravel up. I have put both types of gravel in and it looks very nice, but am now concerned about it, I have not put the fish in, am going to do that tomorrow when it gets to the right temp, and add my current filter.
