Hey guys, just a few questions before i get started keeping fishie:

what products are needed to "cleanse" the water, how often are they used. I have heard of aqua plus and cycle (i think...lol).

I am wondering what fish would go with little neons, i am after a community tank with lots'a color...incase you're wondering, i have a 95 L tank.

Hi and

Nothing should be necessary to cleanse your aquarium water except for a good filter and regular weekly water changes. Avoid adding anything to you tank except food for the fishies and dechlorinator during water changes. SH

me looking at fish = little kid in GIGANTIC candy store....isn't weird how amazed we are by watching another species do their thing?...I never watch my cat like i watch the fish at work.

i know what you mean about watching them though. I've got my betta/african dwarf frog tank in my bedroom, kitted with day and night lighting (though even the night lighting goes off, its just finishing at 11pm i like to watch them in the blue moonlight for an hour or two)

its great to watch them go about their day. and the frogs are hilareous.

The 4ft tank ive bought will be going into my "chill out" room - nothing but fish tanks, supplmental mood lighting and a small cd player. oh and a couple of very very comfy chairs for sitting and reading in/watching the fish.
