Alochohol In Fish Tank....

OK well i had a party that kinda went out of hand two days ago. I just fou8nd out today that 1/2 of a Mikes Hard Lemonade bottle was poured into my 55gal fish tank. There is 5 glass catfish, 6 neon tetras, 5 cory cats, and a bristnlenose plec.

The cories and bristlenose seem fine. The glass cats and neons seem to be hovering around the top. The water is kinda couldy. Ill do a big water change, what else is there i can do?

Nothing. Do a big water change. I'd do several in a row on successive days.

Then kick someone in the head for pouring stuff in your tank.

A water change and run some black carbon poor things.

Put some activated carbon in the filter or change it for some new if there is already some in there, then do several large water changes over a period of days.

That's like giving a friend's dog antifreeze. I had this happen, too. BIG water change, fresh activated carbon.

Yeah i was pissed when i found that out today, i guess i didnt even notice yesteday. I was sleeping a lot.
Water is still cloudy, but fish seem to be fine.
Carbon is goin into the fluval 304 and ill do a water change.
dang friends... or dang alocohol... Thats why i dont like to have parties at my house...

Damn just be glad no one relieved themselves in it. I heard of a guy doing that to his ex before he moved out of her house. All the fishies died of course.
