would this filter be too much for a 60 litre tank already running a 900l/h powerhead

Yes, I think it would.

Yeah, its quite a lot but should be ok, provided its not all in one small area! and also providing you havn't got any more delicate fish like a betta for example

i wouldnt recommend something that big myself, isnt the tank already a bit of a whirlpool with the powerhead? :D

i suppose if it didnt have any fish in it, it would be ok :D

there actually is a mini whirlpool on the surface of the water above the powerhead :)

the current in the tank dosn seem that much though

Maybe you could get a timer for the powerhead, so at night it is a bit more calm?

900 l/h "for aquariums from 60l - 100l"

so that's 900 for the powerhead and 900 for the filter? The filter will probably be giving out more like 400-450 with media, It'd be fine in my opinion, you have a high tech set up so good flow will be beneficial to the distribution of nutrients.

ive ordered one, if the flow seems too high ill fit the spray bar instead
