as the title really, captured 6 of the little ones, put them in a breeding net fed them 3-4 times a day on crushed flake food and algae wafers and one after another they died, so far i havent been able to raise any of my fry from my mixed platy and molly tank, im losing faith! lol and these are meant to be easy to breed!

ive raised kribs, anglefish and convicts, which are harder than these

Maybe they are weak, try just feeding on crushed flakes, high protein foods, small crushed pellets.

Whats your water stats?

You may be feeding them to much food the water in the breeding net can become polluted . Cut down on feeding or change part of water dally

my waters fine test it every week, no ammonia no nitrite ph 7 very low nitrate level

i think fish48 maybe right, ill give that a go next time i get some fry

thanks

i have to agree, the water maybe coming poluted in that breeder. i tend to stay away from boxes or nets for various reasons. what are your water stats, what other fish are in there, what size is your tanks, and how long has it been runing for?
