All Black Tank

Black sand and black 3d background. Would this be too dark or would this look really good?

I started with black background & black gravel, then changed to play sand which I liked for a while.
Started changing back to black background & black sand.
My fish look so much better with dark substrate, their colours are brighter & the plants look so much better.
If your lighting is good then I'd def go for dark substrate & background

I prefer black sand.

it will look amazing.. i had it in my oscar tank.. all black with a huge piece of bogwood..stunning even if i do say so myself

I have an all black tank, love it! The greens of the plants and the colours of the fish will look amazing.

All black tank with all black mollies and cory cats. Now that's all black. (although the plants would make an exception, can't find black plants) LOL.
