HELP!!! My 6 month old tank was doing beautifully. Just did 25% water change (do them weekly) no new fish added in weeks. Water parameters all normal. Woke up to find strange white specks all over glass, and they break up and multiply! Anyone have any clue? :dunno:

Planarians from planet planaria in the óverf'33ding nebula.

Planarians are tiny worms that multiply in tanks where there is too much uneaten food. They are completely harmless and will vanish if you reduce feeding a little.

There are many species, which one is yours?
Don't worry, this picture isn't to scale none of them get this big!

Do you have any snails? I had some apple snails with some sort of parasite, left white teardrops about a millameter long all over the place

i have white speckes but they go away as sir said

But I JUST CLEANED My tank a couple of days ago, and didn't even get that much waste when we vacuumed. I'll do another water change and cut back on feeding (I did slip a little last night on the food). :-( Thanks for all the replies!

I think I read paradise fish will eat them. Though they are not for every tank.
