Algi Bloom In Newish Tank

hi guys
need help getting large algi bloom in my second tank waters gone cloudy, im not that nw to the hobby first tank bin up for about 8 months and is running fine, so i went on and got a second much larger tank, it's been up for about 8 weeks with 12 fish in and suddenly algi everywhere, fish seem happy feeding etc, regular water changes not working help please

decrease the lighting period or add some live plants, especially floating plants like water sprite (Ceratopteris thalictroides).
