alge??????????????

hey all

i have a 5 gallon tank for my fry and i have two diffrent sets both mollies but one set is two weeks old and the second set is one week old but n-e-wayz their tank is growing alittle alge and i wanted to know what kind of alge eating fish can i safely put in their tank.

could maybe put an otto in there, although im pretty sure the like to be in groups...i cant think of any others suitable for your tank tho

If its just a little bit of algae, it will be good for the babies as they will eat the small organisms that grow alongside the algae.

.... otherwise I'll go with Devilsadvocate. Also you could try algea eating shrimp.

plecos wont eat fry will they? if not they do excelent

the only thing i could say is otto because a pleco wuld be way to big for a 5 gallon tank. i would just use a agea scrapper myself with that small a tank.
