Algae

I've got quite a bit of green dot algae on my glass. I usually just scrub it off but i was wondering if there is any algae eaters etc which may help. I have 5 otos in my 45 gal tank but I thought they only eat the brown algae. Any suggestions??

Well it depends. Maybe u must get a bn or a chineese algea eater. From where are the algea coming from. I mean is the sun hitting your tank.

not exactly. a uv sterilizer only helps with free-floating algae.
