Algae

i'v just finshed setting up my 90 gallon tank all cycled and such, all my fish are in it, but i just 10 neons for my 20 gallon that has been running for like..3 months now..i was woonder if there is a way to make algae grow i want it all on my back wall of my tank, i dont mind the work of cleaning the other 3 sides of the tank for 2 weeks or so..i was just wonder if i could do this? would it work?and have you seen any one esle do this before?

Generally Alge is seen as the "enemy". Not many people actively want the stuff to grow in their tank. Have you considered a backdrop on your tank instead ?

Getting algae grow... Hmm... Overfeed a little, leave the lights on too long, let direct sunlight hit the tank (tho not enough to heat the water too much). Of course you're as likely to get algae everywhere except where you want it, and some kinds of algae are bad, bad, bad.

Once you get algae growing in the tank it's not simply a case of stopping it in its tracks. Rather than 2 weeks of glass cleaning it's likely to be a constant requirement.

i'v been looking up on this for a good hour and a half and having 2ed thoughts, i want some kind of live plant all long the back of the tank, so it would move with the current of the bubble wall and filter
im looking at the plant forums and going to post there right now but please keep suggestions coming
