Algae?

ello!
im having a bit of problem with algae...

some of my plants are black - i thought they were rotten until the black rubbed off

some of my java fern / wood has hairs on it

and im getting green spots on my tank front.

im using CO2 and Plant gro - its a standard light i got with the tank nothing fancy.

what can i do to sort it? thanks!

If you use fertilizer for your plants this will increase the chance of algae, Tannin from wood is a natural algicide but does discolour the water. There is always the old fashioned method of algae removal. its got 5 fingers, a palm and is attached to a wrist on an arm

For the plants, have you thought about some algae eaters?
