Algae

[algae eater]

I have some rocks in my 55 gallon tank. They have algae on them. I have taken them out before and scubbed them with a brush and water. It does not do a very good job. What is a safe for the fish that I can use to get the algae off.

I've washed rock @ the car wash many times, shoot, in Texas they take bulls/cows and power wash them down LMAOO



since it's a recurring algae your best bet is the BUSHY/BRISTLE NOSED PLECO.

while they have a face only a mother could love their extremely effecient in cleaning up the green stuff, more then ANY fish out there.

Yeah the BN plec is the best way to go and they 1-Look cool 2-Are cheap 3-Breed Easilly 4-Clean like you wouldnt believe 5-Go well with african cichlids.

Thanks a bunch for the idea. It is so obvious, but I never would have thought of it. I am in Texas, I just hope I don't have any trouble with the bulls at the car wash.
