Algae Section

I think it would be good to have an algae section in the planted area (like video in pictures section) because lots of questions are always asked about it. Other forums usually have one aswell.

I have just asked a poll about it in planted section to see what they think about it, depending on what they say (and mods of course!) then you can decide whether to make one.

It's an interesting thought, but, not sure what you are looking at here. At you looking to do something like 'algaebase.org' where there is a reference to algaes? What types? Saltwater? FW? SH

just a section where you can ask questions, like 'what type of algae is this?'

I suppose a pinned thread could be made on the different types of algae.

a pinned thread on algae would be the best bet. Then people could just go straight to it and hopefully get all the answers they need, including pictures

I think theres only so many questions you can ask about algae, and they've all been asked before. A pinned sticky with info and links (like to JamesC's excellent page on algae) should be enough, and some mod stick rattling telling people to use the search function

Either that, or, well..hey..we have a plant section in the TFF Index...no reason why someone couldn't right up their algaes there. SH
