Algae On Vallisneria

I purchased some vallisneria today, and noticed this algae on the tips of the leaves - what kind of algae is it? It doesn't appear to resemble the dreaded blue-green algae, and it did rub off relatively easy when I tried rubbing some off, but I broke off most of the tips of the leaves with this algae on instead of just rubbing it off. I obviously missed this leaf tip - perhaps some others too, or at least down the stems where there appear to be a few hairs here and there - but I'm trying not to worry and am leaving it for now.
